The official Twitter account for Twitter Gaming was shut down by Elon Musk on November 3, and Shiraz Siddiqui, confirmed that he'd been let go as part of the layoffs.
A new Washington Post report says the entire marketing side of Twitter Gaming was let go at the same time as Siddiqui.
The account has been completely silent in the eight days since.
Twitter Gaming was a fantastic source of game-related information and a great way for content creators to expose themselves to larger audiences.
If Twitter doesn't implode before the end of the year, the Twitter Gaming account might resume activity someday, under the control of a new team.
Maybe Elon himself, if he can figure out the password.
